In the 2026–2027 academic year, the presidential lyceum "Akyllman" plans to expand its network by opening new branches in Manas and Talas. This was announced by Aziretkul Asanov, head of the public relations department of the lyceum, at a press conference at the "Kabar" agency.
The entrance exam for the 7th grade will take place simultaneously in the branches of Cholpon-Ata, Manas, and Talas, while the selection of 8th-grade students will be conducted only in the new branches. This expansion will provide more opportunities for talented students to learn in accordance with modern international standards.
Asanov also noted that the number of applicants for the lyceum is significantly high: 10,000 applications were submitted for the competition, which corresponds to 120 candidates per place. This indicates a high level of competition.
