
At a recent hearing dedicated to the capital's budget project, it was announced that Bishkek's revenues for 2026 will amount to 32.9 billion soms.
The planned funds will be directed towards various needs, including the construction and repair of road infrastructure, the development of engineering networks, major repairs of social facilities, as well as landscaping and greening of urban areas.




The hearings took place at the "Tunguch" theater and gathered participation from citizens, the deputy mayor, deputies of the Bishkek city council, and representatives of city services.
The first deputy mayor, Mirlanbek Baigonchokov, noted that over the past five years, the city's budget has tripled, and last year, revenues amounted to 30.5 billion soms, which exceeded the planned figures by 1.1 billion soms.




Citizens actively asked questions regarding gasification, sewage, road conditions, transport services, and social facilities, and the proposed ideas were taken into account with assignments for the relevant services.
