Part of the avenue will remain accessible to drivers
Starting February 24, repairs will begin on the southern part of Deng Xiaoping Avenue, as reported by the city administration.
The work will cover a section 4.458 km long.
The reason for the early start of the road modernization is the need to replace water pipes. The work will include the dismantling of the existing road surface, widening of the roadway, updating curbs, and laying new asphalt.
It is worth noting that similar work was successfully completed on the northern side of the avenue last year.
The repairs will be carried out in three stages, and the opening of the renovated sections is planned to occur gradually over the course of a month.
