Due to repair work, the southern part of Deng Xiaoping Avenue in Bishkek will be temporarily closed, city hall representatives reported.
The closure will affect a section 4.458 km long — from Intergelpo Street to Kustanayskaya Street. The work will be carried out in stages.
Starting from February 24, the section of Deng Xiaoping Avenue between Intergelpo and Kainazarov Streets will be closed.
The repair work will begin earlier than planned due to the need to replace water pipes. The work will also include the dismantling of the asphalt surface, widening of the roadway, updating curbs, and laying new asphalt.
According to the schedule, the entire repair process will be divided into three stages, and the opening of individual sections of the road is planned over the course of one month.
