This is a donation that applies only to the month of fasting
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan has announced the amount of mandatory Fitr-Sadaqah for the year 2026.
The amount of Fitr-Sadaqah per person is:
▪️ 1.6 kg of wheat — 60 soms
▪️ 1.6 kg of flour — 90 soms
▪️ 3.2 kg of barley — 100 soms
▪️ 1.6 kg of raisins — 880 soms
▪️ 1.6 kg of dates — 1200 soms
It is important to note that Fitr-Sadaqah is a mandatory almsgiving that must be paid only during the fasting period. Donations (sadaqah) made at other times are not considered Fitr-Sadaqah.
Every year, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan and the Council of Ulema establish the amount of Fitr-Sadaqah for each person, expressed in weight units of wheat, raisins, flour, barley, or dates. Each Muslim has the opportunity to choose a product that corresponds to their financial capabilities.
