In the eighth week of 2026 (from February 16 to February 22), the country recorded 9,119 cases of influenza and ARVI, which is 13.7% less compared to the previous week. Previously, according to operational information, 10,576 cases were reported.
Among the sick, 72% are children under the age of 14, which is equivalent to 6,568 cases. Hospitalization was required for 11.8% of the sick, which amounts to 1,075 people.
Epidemiological surveillance of acute respiratory infections and influenza-like illnesses continues in Bishkek, Osh, and Tokmok.
