Jumakulova noted that educational work in the country's educational institutions needs serious organization. "Unfortunately, the position of deputy principal for educational work is not adequately rewarded. This job requires significant effort and responsibility, and as a result, we observe a shortage of specialists. I myself work in a school and notice that in some institutions the work is organized effectively — both the administration and teachers interact with each other, however, in other schools there are no deputy principals, and children are left without proper education," the expert explained.
In her opinion, the lack of teamwork in the educational sphere can negatively affect students' behavior. "In those schools where there is a clear code of conduct for teachers and students, children, having familiarized themselves with it and signed it, understand what actions may lead to negative consequences. This makes them think before doing something," she added.
As reported, on February 16, an incident occurred at school No. 83 between a student and a teacher, which escalated into a physical confrontation. In connection with this, a criminal case was initiated.
In response to such cases, the authorities in Kyrgyzstan plan to tighten administrative responsibility for disrespectful behavior towards teachers and interference in their professional activities. Currently, a warning or a fine of 10 calculation indicators (1,000 soms) is provided, but it is proposed to increase the fine to 50 calculation indicators (5,000 soms).
Parental responsibility will also be strengthened: if a violation is committed by a child under 16 years old, currently only a warning is provided, but it is planned to introduce a fine of 100 calculation indicators (10,000 soms).
