The akyn of the National Theater "Manas" took 3rd place at the international aytish in Kazakhstan

Argen Biymyrza uulu, a poet from the National Theater "Manas," won third place at the international aitys held in Kazakhstan titled "Born a Hero for the People...".

According to the theater, this event took place in Uralsk and was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the renowned public and political figure Mustakhim Ikshanov.

Mustakhim Belyalovich Ikshanov (March 30, 1926, Baydukovo village, Ural Province, Kazakh ASSR — November 18, 1991) was a prominent figure in Soviet politics. He served as the first secretary of the Kyzylorda regional committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan from 1963 to 1966, then as the first secretary of the Zhambyl regional committee in 1970-1971, and the Ural regional committee from 1976 to 1985. He was also a candidate member of the Central Committee of the CPSU from 1976 to 1986 and a member of the Central Auditing Commission of the CPSU from 1971 to 1976. Ikshanov also represented the Ural region in the Council of the Union of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR during the 7th to 11th convocations from 1962 to 1989.
