Adis Orozmanatov won bronze at the European Cup

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Adis Orozmamatov, won a bronze medal at the European Cup.

The competitions took place on February 7 and 8 in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Orozmamatov competed in the under 66 kg category, where 31 participants fought for medals.

He began his journey to bronze in the round of 16, defeating Peter Weiss from Slovakia, and then secured victory over Kana Emirhan Esenboga from Turkey in the quarterfinals.

In the semifinals, the Kyrgyzstani athlete was defeated by David Zeynalov, representing Russia. However, he was given the opportunity to continue competing in the consolation tournament for third place.

In the consolation match, Orozmamatov overcame opponents such as Alex Milosevic from Serbia, Roko Rozga from Croatia, and Jakub Kurowski from Poland, which allowed him to win the bronze award.

It is worth noting that at the beginning of February, Orozmamatov also became a bronze medalist at the Open European Cup in Bulgaria.
