Nurzat competed in the under 72 kilograms category and, unfortunately, lost to her opponent from Mongolia, Bolrtungalag Zorigt, in the first match.
The gold medal of the tournament was won by athlete from Kazakhstan, Zhamilya Bakbergenova, the silver went to Bolrtungalag Zorigt, while the bronze medals were shared by Nurzat Nurtayeva and Ksenia Burakova from Dagestan.
It should be noted that in the bronze match, Nurzat was supposed to face Liza Dudayeva, but unfortunately, the Russian athlete sustained an injury and was unable to compete.
