Adis Orozmamatov won bronze at the European Cup in Bulgaria

The representative of Kyrgyzstan, Adis Orozmamatov, won a bronze medal at the international judo tournament held in Bulgaria.

The competitions, part of the Open European Cup series, took place in the capital city, Sofia, from January 31 to February 1.

Orozmamatov competed in the weight category up to 66 kilograms, where 46 participants took part.

He began his journey to the medal in the 1/16 finals, where he won against Bulgarian judoka Samuil Dimitrov. In the next match, the Kyrgyz athlete managed to overcome Vadim Chernov from Ukraine, but in the semifinals, he was unable to secure a victory against Stilyan Gushkov from Bulgaria.

Nevertheless, in the match for third place, Orozmamatov defeated Matthias Morau from France and won the bronze medal.
