According to the Ministry of Education, 1,606 students who won prizes at the district stage are participating in the competition.
The olympiad covers the following subjects:
- mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, computer science, English;
- Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature — for schools with Kyrgyz as the language of instruction;
- Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature — for schools with Russian as the language of instruction.
The final, republican stage of the olympiad is scheduled for March.
