The streaming platform Netflix has announced that it does not intend to raise its bid for Warner Bros. to surpass the offer made by Paramount Skydance, which stands at $31 per share, according to BBC News.

Warner Bros. has a rich archive of films created in Hollywood over nearly a century, as well as the well-known streaming service HBO.

According to the initial terms of the deal with Netflix, which is now unlikely to materialize, the company was supposed to separate its broadcast channels, including the news channel CNN.

The conglomerate Paramount Skydance is owned by the Allison family, known for its ties to Donald Trump.
