We are ready to take necessary measures in case of worsening situation
Ulukbek Maripov, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Saudi Arabia, reported a calm situation in the country through his social media.
He added that embassy staff are in constant contact with Kyrgyz citizens who are in the Middle Eastern countries.
A special headquarters has been organized to address issues related to pilgrims, which is conducting all necessary activities.
“Recently, we received a request from 35 of our citizens in Bahrain. We are ready to take all necessary measures in case of worsening situation,” the ambassador noted.
Regarding air transportation, Ulukbek Maripov reported that airports in Saudi Arabia are operating in a stable mode. At the same time, in some neighboring countries, airports are temporarily closed. Domestic flights in Saudi Arabia continue, and national airlines are maintaining international flights, although the number of flights by foreign carriers has decreased.
“The overall situation in Saudi Arabia remains stable. We are actively interacting with local authorities and will promptly inform citizens and take necessary measures in case of changes,” he concluded.
