Orozo Ait May Coincide with the Celebration of Nowruz
On the night of March 16 to 17, Kadir Tün (Night of Destiny) will take place, according to information from the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
Preliminary data indicates that Orozo Ait will be celebrated on March 20, which may coincide with the celebration of Nowruz.
The Ministry of Labor reminded citizens to consider the updated calendar of holidays and weekends, and that there will be no transfers in 2026.
Preparations for the celebration of Nowruz have already begun at the Ministry of Culture, which announced that Naryn will be the main venue for events.
If Orozo Ait indeed falls on March 21, the traditional Ait namaz will take place in the morning, followed by events related to Nowruz, as is customary, the department clarified.
