Dimash became the second person in the world to receive such a title
On March 5, a significant event took place at the "Astana Opera": Dimash Kudaibergen, an internationally renowned singer, was awarded the highest title of "Ambassador of the Turkic World Culture." This was announced by the Secretary General of TURKSOY, Sultan Raev.
He noted that Dimash is only the second celebrity to receive such status. The first was the outstanding Turkish scientist and Nobel Prize laureate Aziz Sancar.
In addition, Samal Yeslyamova, a well-known actress awarded the "Golden Palm Branch" at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in the film "Ayka," received the film award "Golden Crane" for her significant contribution to the cinema of the Turkic world and a gold medal from the international organization TURKSOY.
Sultan Raev added: "These two outstanding figures of Kazakh culture proudly represent Kazakh and Turkic culture on the world stage. We invited Dimash to Kyrgyzstan and hope that he will come to perform the famous song by the great Atai 'Küydüm chok' — God willing."
