Awards were presented to women in the city of Karakol

A solemn event dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8 was held in Karakol.

About 300 women gathered for the celebration, representing various fields: heroic mothers, labor veterans, specialists from different sectors, women with disabilities, and active youth.

The leadership of the city administration delivered a welcoming speech. There are 98 heroic mothers and 79 holders of the "Ene danky" ("Mother's Glory") medal living in Karakol.

As part of the ceremony, honorary awards were presented. The badge of the Karakol City Council "For Services to the City" was awarded to three women:

- Nadezhda Nikolaevna Balabanova, an employee of the municipal enterprise "Vodokanal";

- Dinara Zairbekova Yesenalievna, a teacher at school No. 11;

- Damira Kozhobekovna Toktosunova, an economist at the Issyk-Kul Regional Unified Hospital.

Additionally, 10 women were recognized with Certificates of Honor from the city administration for their diligent work and active civic stance.

The official part concluded with a festive concert featuring cultural workers from the city performing musical and dance numbers.
