
International Women's Day always symbolizes spring, care, and love for women. That evening, more than a thousand outstanding representatives of various professions, ages, and nationalities gathered at the philharmonic, including mothers of many children, veterans of the women's movement, and holders of high awards from all corners of Kyrgyzstan. This evening became a true gift for all women, filled with sincere emotions and a spring mood, while live music and the festive atmosphere made it unforgettable.
The celebration opened with a greeting from the President of the Congress of Women of Kyrgyzstan, Zamira Akbagysheva, who noted that with the arrival of spring comes this bright holiday.
- How much warmth and love is contained in the words "mother," "wife," "sister," "beloved"! These women, who gave us life, are a source of inspiration and strength. A woman is the "support of all supports," - she said. - Kindness, hard work, and patience are the qualities that will always be valued in our society.
Zamira Akbagysheva expressed wishes for health, love, and happiness for all Kyrgyz women. "May flowers and gifts bring you joy every day, and may smiles never leave your faces," she added.
Other high-ranking guests, including the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Arslan Koichiev and ambassadors from various countries such as China, South Korea, and Pakistan, also supported the greeting.
"A woman holds an important place in the life of every man. I congratulate you on March 8! May love and happiness reign in your homes," noted one of the diplomats, emphasizing the importance of women's roles in society.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping, warmly congratulated Kyrgyz women, sharing achievements of China in the field of women's rights and joint projects with the Congress of Women of Kyrgyzstan aimed at training and supporting women.
Zamira Akbagysheva thanked the Chinese side for supporting the women's movement in Kyrgyzstan and expressed hope for further cooperation.
At the end of the celebration, well-known artists of Kyrgyz culture performed on the stage of the philharmonic, including the komuz ensemble "Akak" and other performers.
Several hours earlier, the official presentation of the ninth volume of the encyclopedia "Women of Kyrgyzstan" took place at the philharmonic.
As Zamira Akbagysheva noted, the goal of the publication is to preserve the memory of great women who inspire youth towards patriotism and the development of the country.
The new volume includes biographies of about 200 women who made significant contributions to the development of Kyrgyzstan. The publication opens with a welcoming speech from the country's president Sadyr Japarov and contains congratulations from foreign diplomats.
Among the outstanding women featured in the book are personalities such as Toktogon Altybasarova, who raised many orphans, and bronze medalist of the Olympic Games Meerim Jumanaazarova.
During the event, awards were also presented to women who made significant contributions in various fields, and prizes were drawn, including the grand prize — a trip to Istanbul.
