In Osh, the Eid prayer was held in honor of Orozo Ait, which took place in 75 mosques of the city. The Osh city administration reported this event.
At the festive prayer in the central mosque "Al-Bukhari," Mayor Janarbek Akayev and Chairman of the City Council Bolot Bayetov were present, who congratulated the citizens on the holiday and wished them happiness.
The mayor emphasized that Orozo Ait embodies values such as mercy, forgiveness, and kindness, and calls people to patience and mutual assistance. He expressed hope that this holiday would bring joy to every family, contributing to peace and stability in the city and the country.
On this day, a new mosque was also laid on the site of the old Al-Bukhari mosque (Alai), which will meet modern requirements. The ceremony included a sacrifice ritual and a blessing for the start of construction.
According to the city administration, the festive events in the city took place calmly and in an organized manner.
