In Bishkek, at the "Alga" sports complex, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, head of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, conducted an inspection of the training process of the national youth team, which is preparing for the hockey World Cup.
The U-20 youth tournament (IIHF Division III-B) will take place from January 18 to 24 at the "Bishkek Arena." Teams from Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, the Republic of South Africa, Iran, and Hong Kong will participate.
Moldazhiyev expressed hope that the athletes would demonstrate a high level of play and strive for victory. The discussion on the team's preparation level also took place with the leadership of the "Zhashtyk" directorate, Vice President of the Hockey Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Elzar Bolotbekov, and head coach Alexey Khakalo.
