The Dakar Rally-2026, part of the World Rally-Raid Championship, started on January 3 and is taking place in Saudi Arabia. The final stage of the race is scheduled for January 17 in the same city of Yanbu.
The crew from Kyrgyzstan, consisting of drivers Denis Krotov and Konstantin Zhiltzov, represents the factory team Ford. They are competing in the new Ford Raptor T1+ No. 217, painted in the colors of the M-Sport Rally-Raid Team. Both participants hold licenses from the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the rally.
After eight stages of the competition, the team is in 55th place overall among 80 teams. The best result was achieved in the third stage, where the Kyrgyzstani drivers finished the race in the top ten.
