Currently, Akunbekov's candidacy will be submitted for approval to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, so he can officially take up the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister.
It is worth noting that just an hour earlier, information was announced in the President's Administration regarding the removal of Bakyt Torobaev from the positions he held in the government. The reasons for this decision were not officially disclosed; however, social media was actively discussing an audio recording in which Torobaev allegedly spoke with his nephew Erkin. In this conversation, figures such as the son of the former head of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, Tai-Muras, and Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov were mentioned, as well as discussions about coercion to sell a land plot at a reduced price. Tai-Muras Tashiev and Bakyt Torobaev himself commented on this recording, rejecting all allegations.
