The news agency "Kabar" reports that the CSTO Secretariat has commented on the recent airstrikes by the USA and Israel on Iran.
“The CSTO Secretariat has received the news of the beginning of large-scale attacks by the USA and Israel on Iranian territory, resulting in civilian casualties, with great concern,” the official statement says.
We note the serious risks associated with the potential escalation of the conflict and support the assessment of the situation voiced by the UN Secretary-General.
We believe it is necessary to return the parties to political negotiations and conflict resolution as soon as possible, in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter,” the Secretariat added.
