A resident of the city named J.N. filed a statement with the Investigation Service. She reported that on the night of January 30 to 31, 2026, unknown criminals broke into her house located in the residential area of "Kok-Zhar" by prying open a plastic window. As a result of the theft, money and gold jewelry worth a total of 3 million soms were stolen. After committing the crime, the perpetrators fled the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 (Theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, a 34-year-old man, S.A., who had previous convictions, was arrested. He has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
