According to representatives of the KFU, Mesa will combine his duties with coaching the youth teams — girls under 17 (U-17) and under 20 (U-20).

The KFU noted that Antonio Mesa's previous experience working with women's and youth teams will significantly improve the training process and create a structured program for training female footballers at all levels — from junior to national.
Before starting his work in Kyrgyzstan, Mesa already had experience coaching the under 17 (U-17) women's team, where he was invited by the Spanish coaching staff.
