The international Super 4 Wrestling tournament took place in Bishkek. Wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan won 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals

On February 13, 2026, the international Super 4 Wrestling tournament was held at the "Zhashtyk" arena in Bishkek, gathering world-class wrestlers in five different weight categories. The event attracted over 5,000 spectators who actively supported the participants and created an atmosphere of a true sports celebration.

One of the most exciting moments of the tournament was the main match in Greco-Roman wrestling, where Akjol Makhmudov from Kyrgyzstan faced Aik Mnatsakanyan from Bulgaria. In the end, Makhmudov won the tense bout.

As a result of the competition, the Kyrgyzstan national team won 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

The opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by the Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Junushaliev, the General Director of the international platform USP and the project initiator Kazimir Bayramukov, as well as the Vice President of the Federation of Freestyle Wrestling of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulan Sultanov.

In his address, Mayor Junushaliev emphasized the importance of holding a tournament of this level for the capital, which helps strengthen international sports ties. He also noted that the city administration actively supports such initiatives. In his speech, the mayor pointed out the development of the city's sports infrastructure, including the construction of the "Zhashtyk" and "Alga" arenas, as well as plans to modernize the Sports Palace in accordance with international standards. In conclusion, he wished the athletes successful performances and the judges fair officiating.
