This match will take place as part of the PWL 11 tournament, scheduled for March 27 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
The bout will be held in the weight category up to 82 kg.
So far, the athletes have faced each other twice on the mat in official competitions.
The first encounter was in the semifinals of the qualifying World Championship held in Belgrade (Croatia). In that match, the Kyrgyzstani athlete emerged victorious, winning with a score of 7:5.
In 2024, their paths crossed again in the final of the Asian Championship in Bishkek, where Kusaki managed to take revenge, finishing the match with a score of 4:2.
In the summer of 2025, the Kyrgyzstan national team held training camps in Japan, where Mahmudov and Kusaki met again on the mat. This training match ended in a draw at 2:2, but the judges favored the Japanese athlete.
