
At this event, Mongolia was represented by a high-profile delegation that included the President of the National Olympic Committee of Mongolia (NOC) Battushig Batbold, who is also a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Executive Board of the Canadian Olympic Committee, the First Vice President of the NOC Naranbaatar Choigavaa, and the Head of the External Relations Department of the NOC Bayartuya Bayarsaihan.
Delegates from 45 national Olympic committees of Asia, as well as representatives from the IOC, international sports federations, and organizing committees of upcoming multi-sport events attended the Assembly. Participants discussed reports on the activities of the OCA, the work of its commissions, amendments to the Charter of the Asian Olympic Committee, and received information about the upcoming Asian Games scheduled for 2026 in "Sanya" and "Aichi–Nagoya," as well as the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games to be held in "Riyadh 2026."

During the session, it was also announced that Raja Randhir Singh from India, who previously held the position of President of the Olympic Council of Asia, would be unable to continue his work due to health reasons. As a result of the elections, the new President of the OCA became Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, who is the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee. He was elected as the 22nd President of the Olympic Council of Asia and will hold this position until 2028, being the only candidate in the elections.
