A one-room apartment was handed over to young athlete Kubanych Taldybekov in the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul region.
This initiative was a result of a video that appeared on social media two weeks ago, showing the difficult living conditions of the athlete. The video attracted public and governmental attention.
In response to the situation, local authorities decided to provide Kubanych with temporary housing and took steps to improve his living conditions.
On January 15, the authorized representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul region, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, handed the keys to the young athlete, wishing him great success in sports.
“This support allows the young athlete to focus on training and strive for high achievements, representing our country with dignity,” the official statement said.
