The situation with Kubanych became known to the general public just two weeks ago when a video showing his difficult living conditions appeared on social media. This attracted the attention of both local residents and government authorities.
In response to the public outcry, local authorities provided the athlete with temporary housing and began taking measures to improve his situation. As a result, today the representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul region, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, handed the keys to a new apartment located in the village of Bosteri to Kubanych Taldybekov and expressed his wishes for success in sports.
As noted in the official statement, "the assistance provided will allow the young athlete to focus on training and continue his career in more comfortable conditions."
