Under the guidance of new coach Robert Prosinečki, the team played two friendly matches in Turkey during the March FIFA window.
In their first match under Prosinečki, the Kyrgyz team suffered a defeat against Equatorial Guinea with a minimal score of 0:1. This loss caused the team to drop to 105th place, losing two positions in the ranking.
Then came another setback — the team lost to Madagascar with a crushing score of 2:5, which resulted in another three lost positions.
As a result of the two matches, the Kyrgyz team lost 4.97 points and is currently in 108th place.
The final ranking reflecting the results of the March matches will be announced later.
