The International Wrestling Federation (UWW) has confirmed that the 2026 Asian Championship will take place in Kyrgyzstan.

The tournament is scheduled for April 6 to 12 in Bishkek.

In September 2025, UWW already announced that the next Asian Championship would be held in Jordan.

UWW President Nenad Lalovic visited Bishkek in early December, after which it became known that the Asian Championship would be awarded to this city.

Currently, information about the 2026 Asian Championship is not available on the official UWW website.

Previously, Bishkek hosted the senior Asian Championships three times — in 2007, 2018, and 2024.
