Recently, the team made an official announcement about signing the midfielder of the national team of Kyrgyzstan, Alimardon Shukurov. This return became possible after six seasons spent outside the home championship.
Shukurov, who is now 26 years old, signed a contract with the Turkish club "Boluspor" in 2019 after leaving "Abdysh-Ata." Since then, he has also played for Belarusian clubs "Neman" and "Torpedo-BelAZ."
Unfortunately, in 2025, the player suffered an injury, which deprived him of the opportunity to participate in the World Cup qualifying matches and his club's games in the Belarusian championship.
At the end of last year, Shukurov returned to Kyrgyzstan, where he underwent rehabilitation after his injury following his departure from "Torpedo-BelAZ."
In the last season, "Muras United" reached the playoffs of the Asian Challenge League, where they are set to face the Lebanese club "Al-Ansar." The first of two scheduled encounters will take place on March 4 away, while the return match will be held on March 11 in Bishkek.
Additionally, "Muras United" previously signed another midfielder of the Kyrgyz national team — Erbol Atabaev, who also represented "Abdysh-Ata."
