Kyrgyzstan National Team (U-20) — World Champions in the Third Division

The youth hockey team of Kyrgyzstan won the World Championship (U-20) in the third division (Group B).

The competition, which featured six youth teams, took place from January 18 to 24 in Bishkek.

Kyrgyz hockey players won all five of their matches, defeating teams from Hong Kong (4:1), South Africa (7:2), Iran (15:1), Luxembourg (5:3), and Mexico (7:4).

The Kyrgyzstan national team accumulated the maximum 15 points and took first place in the final standings of the tournament.

As a result, they were awarded gold medals and the title of world champions in division 3B.

Additionally, the Kyrgyz team earned the right to compete in Group A of the third division next season.
