Currently, the parliament is discussing the candidacy of Damirbek Osmonov for the position of Minister of Health.
Kubanychbekov noted that the project, developed with the involvement of the Turkish side, has stalled at the third stage. "The implementation of this project could eliminate corrupt elements and ensure targeted delivery of medications," he added.
- Work on the implementation of the drug traceability system began in 2018. The first phase of the system started in March 2023. According to the latest data, 1955 pharmacies and 227 medical institutions were already operating within the system.
- In December, the Ministry of Health announced that the completion of the drug traceability system implementation in Kyrgyzstan is scheduled for the end of January 2026.
