According to the Karakol Interdistrict Center for Disease Prevention and the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, from February 27 to March 6, 2026, chickenpox was diagnosed in 8–10 children studying in the middle and senior groups. In this regard, the sanitary service decided to temporarily close these groups for quarantine.
According to specialists, the epidemiological situation is currently under control. The kindergarten continues to operate as usual, and the quarantine measures apply only to the two groups where cases of the disease have been registered.
