At this event, the opportunity for Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to access China's trade network, China Co-op, was announced.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Center for Development and Promotion of Exports "Kyrgyz Export" under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as participants from the agribusiness sector and export-oriented companies.
As reported by the organizers, Kyrgyzstan is now connecting to a mechanism that was previously successfully implemented by NACOFEC in collaboration with the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC).
In particular, producers of organic products from Kyrgyzstan will have the opportunity to participate in the "Central Asia Organic Products Shelf" project, which will open access to the extensive network of China Co-op, comprising 341,000 retail outlets across China.
NACOFEC President Kazybek Shaikh emphasized the importance of uniting producers into cooperative chains, as well as creating a "green corridor" — from product certification to its placement on store shelves.
As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between NACOFEC and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
