In 2025, the harvest of more than seven thousand tons of tropical fruits is planned
Modern agricultural technologies are being implemented in the Batken region for the successful cultivation of citrus fruits. Specialists from the Kadamjai and Batken districts have started breeding seedlings of mandarins, oranges, and lemons.
According to experts, the results of experiments show successful development of tropical fruits in the region's conditions. In 2023, the area under such plantings was about 800 hectares, and by 2025 it will increase to 1,052 hectares.
Farmers collected 7,149 tons of tropical products last year.
This project is aimed at diversifying agriculture and introducing innovative technologies.
