Over the past year and a half, the increase amounted to $3 billion.
Last year, the total number of projects involving Turkish investors in the region rose to 153, and in the first half of 2025, 8 new investment initiatives were launched.
In particular, 8 projects with Turkish investments totaling $1 billion are being implemented in Kyrgyzstan.
“The largest of these are the construction of the Kyrgyz-Turkish University 'Manas' with investments from the Turkish government amounting to about $398 million and the gold extraction plant 'Eti Bakir Tereksay,' which has investments of $350 million,” the EDB report notes.
