According to the information, the order, dated January 30, 2026, number 3, has already come into effect.
As part of this document, territorial divisions of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service have established maximum retail prices for meat by regions of the country.
- In the capital, Bishkek, the maximum price for beef is 720 soms per kilogram, and for lamb — 710 soms;
- In the Chui region, the price reaches 740-750 soms;
- In the Naryn region, the cost varies from 620 to 680 soms depending on the area;
- In the Issyk-Kul region, the maximum prices are in the range of 680-740 soms;
- In the Talas region, the price is about 685-695 soms;
- In Osh and the Osh region, the maximum price is set at 720-730 soms;
- In the Jalal-Abad region, prices fluctuate from 630 to 720 soms;
- In the Batken region, the maximum cost of beef and lamb is 700 soms per kilogram.
The Ministry of Economy emphasized that these measures are aimed at curbing price increases and protecting consumer interests. The antimonopoly service will monitor compliance with the established prices locally.
