In Kyrgyzstan, temporary state regulation of meat prices has been introduced, concerning beef and lamb, with the exception of boneless meat. The press service of the Ministry of Economy reported this.

According to the information, the order, dated January 30, 2026, number 3, has already come into effect.

As part of this document, territorial divisions of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service have established maximum retail prices for meat by regions of the country.

The Ministry of Economy emphasized that these measures are aimed at curbing price increases and protecting consumer interests. The antimonopoly service will monitor compliance with the established prices locally.
