The Deputy Prime Minister responsible for agriculture, Bakyt Torobaev, noted that this issue is under consideration.
“We are exploring the possibility of implementing an insurance system in this area. I want to emphasize that it will not be possible to cover all agricultural crops; only the most significant ones will be included,” he added.
He also mentioned that there are currently private insurance companies, but the mechanism for obtaining compensation has not yet been developed.
During the meeting, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding preparations for spring field and economic activities in 2026 was also discussed.
