On February 17, 2026, an important business meeting took place in the format of "An Hour with the Trade Representative," gathering participants from regional Export Support Centers and representatives of the Trade Representation of Russia in the Kyrgyz Republic. During this event, entrepreneurs from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region announced their intentions to enter the Kyrgyz market.
Among the 25 companies expressing interest in this Central Asian direction, notable leaders include LLC "BaltKhimm," LLC "PC "Medved," JSC "Novbytkhim," LLC "VIT," LLC "Lignogumat," LLC "Roltek," LLC "Korvey," and others involved in the chemical industry, equipment manufacturing, and innovative materials.
During the discussions, the businessmen received a "roadmap" that will help them bring their products to the Kyrgyz market. Experts from the Trade Representation presented fresh data on the dynamics of trade and economic relations and outlined the most promising areas for Russian exporters. Special attention was given to practical aspects such as logistics, finding reliable local partners, and interregional cooperation.
The organizers noted that such meetings allow businesses to significantly reduce risks when entering new markets and to ask relevant questions to official representatives of Russia abroad. Kyrgyzstan is viewed as one of the key strategic partners, opening up extensive opportunities for joint trade and investment projects.
