
In preparation for the upcoming VI World Nomad Games, which will take place in 2026, Kyrgyzstan plans to allocate significant funds — 147.5 million soms. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The majority of the budget will be directed towards the development of breeding horse farming and infrastructure. In particular, the "State Holding for Breeding Horse Farming" intends to purchase 14 breeding stallions and mares of English and Russian trotting breeds. For these needs, 32.8 million soms are allocated.
Additionally, 91.2 million soms will be spent on the technical equipping of facilities: this includes the modernization of stables, sports arenas, and riding halls, as well as the arrangement of tracks and the provision of veterinary and medical support during the Games. The remaining 23.5 million soms will go towards administrative needs and the maintenance of personnel who will be involved in organizing this large-scale ethnosport event.
