The deputy clarified what measures would be taken against these companies in the event of price increases for goods.
Mamyraliyev explained that first, a warning would be issued, then a caution, and only after that could there be warnings and accountability.
"If the offender admits their guilt, they may be granted mitigating circumstances when determining the punishment," he added.
Surabaldiyeva also requested a list of monopolist companies.
At that time, the agenda included the draft Law "On Competition," which was submitted for the first reading (initiated by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, entry No. 6-1194/26 dated 27.02.2026) and was being reviewed by the Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development.
