US Dollar:
- Rate set by the NB KR: 87.45 soms (increase of 0.005 percent).
- Average rate at exchange points: purchase — 87.35 soms, sale — 87.79 soms.
Euro:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 103.6457 soms (increase of 0.95 percent). This is the maximum price in January and a new record since the beginning of 2025.
- Average rate at exchange points: purchase — 103.41 soms, sale — 104.39 soms.
Russian Ruble:
- Rate announced by the NB KR: 1.1538 soms (increase of 0.1 percent). This is a new record value for the entire past year.
- Average rate at exchange points: purchase — 1.129 soms, sale — 1.163 soms.
Kazakh Tenge:
- Rate of the NB KR: 0.1742 soms (increase of 0.29 percent). This is the maximum price in January.
- Average rate at exchange points: purchase — 0.1552 soms, sale — 0.1827 soms.
Chinese Yuan:
- Official rate of the NB KR: 12.5717 soms (increase of 0.1 percent). This is a historical maximum for the Chinese currency.
- Average rate at exchange points: purchase — 12.55 soms, sale — 13.1 soms.
