Among the planned events that will help develop trade and economic relations, Vakunov highlighted:
- The 27th meeting of the Russian-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Commission, which will take place from May 12 to 17 in Kazan;
- The 7th business forum for Russian and Kyrgyz entrepreneurs, which will be held in the Issyk-Kul region;
- The interregional conference of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, scheduled for the fall in Kyrgyzstan.
Vakunov emphasized that representatives of Russian regions are showing active interest in cooperation in various fields.
The ambassador also noted that the leadership of the Altai Republic, possessing significant tourism potential, is particularly interested in Kyrgyzstan's initiatives to create a ski resort cluster in the Issyk-Kul region.
In addition, the Sverdlovsk and Novosibirsk regions of Russia are also exploring opportunities for cooperation.
