During the briefing held on February 10, the Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Sergey Vakunov, outlined plans for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in 2026.

Among the planned events that will help develop trade and economic relations, Vakunov highlighted:


Vakunov emphasized that representatives of Russian regions are showing active interest in cooperation in various fields.

The ambassador also noted that the leadership of the Altai Republic, possessing significant tourism potential, is particularly interested in Kyrgyzstan's initiatives to create a ski resort cluster in the Issyk-Kul region.

In addition, the Sverdlovsk and Novosibirsk regions of Russia are also exploring opportunities for cooperation.
