In 2026, 1400 km of power lines will be upgraded in the Batken region.

- In accordance with the approved plan for 2026, the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, together with the Batken branch of OJSC "NES Kyrgyzstan," is starting repair work on high-voltage overhead lines, as reported by the press service of the enterprise. The work will cover lines with a voltage of 220/110/35 kV.
Major repairs will be carried out on 20 kilometers of lines, while planned work will affect 1380 kilometers of overhead lines. These activities are aimed at preparing for the autumn-winter period of 2026–2027 and will be conducted in stages from March to November in the Kadamjai, Leilek, and Batken districts.

Additionally, the ministry announced the start of planned work on the Suluktu section of high-voltage lines, which will cover the sections "Khoja-Bakirgan – Arka" and "Arka – Morskaya," spanning 7 kilometers. During this work, it is planned to replace 190 old insulators.

Note:

In 2025, 7200 worn-out insulators were replaced on the high-voltage lines of 220/110/35 kV of the Batken electric grid enterprise, and 7513 new glass insulators were installed. As part of the planned repairs, 1264.75 kilometers of high-voltage lines were covered, while major repairs affected 134.6 kilometers.
