In the Chui region, work is planned in 2026 for the installation and modernization of over 119.34 kilometers of SIP cable, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

These works will be carried out from March to November, which will allow preparation for the autumn-winter season of 2026-2027.

The works will affect the following districts:

▪️ Alamudun District — 20.45 km;

▪️ Kemin District — 6.840 km;

▪️ Moscow District — 11.100 km;

▪️ Jayil District — 9.429 km;

▪️ Sokuluk District — 33.583 km;

▪️ Chui District — 15.899 km;

▪️ Issyk-Ata District — 5.68 km;

▪️ Panfilov District — 8 km.

SIP cable has several advantages: its insulated wires are less susceptible to snow drifts and icing, which significantly increases the reliability of power grids. This also helps to avoid short circuits and power supply interruptions during strong winds. The cable demonstrates high resistance to adverse natural conditions.

The goal of these works is to ensure stable power supply to consumers during the autumn-winter period and minimize the risks of emergency situations.
