The initiator of this draft law was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Sultan Akhmatov, emphasized that the halal industry in the Kyrgyz Republic is actively developing, and the number of enterprises in this sector is increasing every year.
According to him, due to the growing demand for halal products and services, as well as to protect consumer rights and ensure fair competition, there is a need for stricter control and the establishment of clear legal norms to regulate the halal industry.
