- On February 19, 2026, a working meeting was held within the framework of the CIS MGS, dedicated to the refinement of the Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies.

Representatives of the national accreditation bodies of the following countries participated in the meeting:

The Republic of Belarus,
The Kyrgyz Republic,
The Russian Federation,
The Republic of Uzbekistan,
The Republic of Tajikistan,
The Executive Committee of the CIS and the Bureau of Standards.

The main topic of discussion was a draft document titled "Regulations on Conducting Parity Assessments of the Accreditation Bodies of the Agreement Member States." Participants agreed that this document should be of a framework nature and define general principles for conducting parity assessments.

Work on the document will continue in the established manner.

A mechanism for mutual recognition of certificates from conformity assessment bodies is already being implemented within the EAEU, for which a Unified Register is maintained by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

As of early 2026, 92 organizations from Kyrgyzstan with various operational statuses are registered in this register.
